TRACE AFRICA: JUNE HIGHLIGHTS

It’s time to step into the Focus zone this month on TRACE Africa as we bring you hits from Nigeria to Congo and South Africa!

Get ready for great music from the IF hitmaker Davido, and other Young Stars such as Wizkid and Mr Eazi. Apart from that we’ve got the best of the best from South Africa’s finest collective Ambitiouz Entertainment as well.

The month will end with a Francophone frenzy as we have a one off special celebrating DRC Independence Day.

He’s one of our favourite success stories – from his earlier hit “Dami Duro” to a series of club bangers like his most recent single “If” that would see his star rise to global fame – Davido’s journey has been exciting to watch. Join us as we dedicate an hour of our programming to some old and new songs from the Naija star.

To celebrate Youth Month (Youth Day is commemorated on June 16 in South Africa) TRACE Africa has put together a list of the continent’s brightest young stars. From Wizkid in Nigeria and Nasty C in South Africa to Mr Eazi in Ghana – join us in celebrating our talented youth!

 

FOCUS: DRC INDEPENDENCE DAY SPECIAL

TRACE Africa celebrates the DRC’s Independence with the country the only way we know how – an hour of the best in Congolese music. Join us and the likes of Fally Ipupa, Koffi Olomide and Mohombi among many others in saluting 57 years of independence.
