Music Interview

À conversa com o DJ Kayel

“Ser DJ é a minha paixão”

@DJ Kayel

A partilha…

As tuas principais influências? O zouk, o ragga e o dancehall

What are the main difficulties? To feel the public and get them carried away by your mix.

What does kizomba mean to you? Sharing…

In your opinion, at the moment, who are the best Angolan, Cape Verdean and Mozambican artists? It’s hard to say who the best are, because I love different music styles, but I really enjoy the work of Matias Damásio, Yola Araújo, Ary, Badoxa, C4 Pedro, Landrick, Loony Johnson, Elji Beatzkilla and of course Nélson Freitas.

Any plans for this summer? I have some dates scheduled for Europe (Italy, Poland, Portugal …) and I also have to work and focus on my next productions.
