According to the “Guardian,” the rapper canceled his European tour after his visa application was rejected in the U.K.
The newspaper reports that the U.K. Border Agency cited Wayne’s criminal history as the reason for his denied visa. Wayne did an eight-month stint in prison last year for weapons possession and was released in November.
But Wayne’s management denied those rumors, saying he never filed for a visa. They told Billboard:
“No visa was ever filed, nor were there any tour dates announced, or tickets sold. Lil Wayne is currently headlining his I Am Still Music Tour across the US and Canada with plans to extend the tour through North America this summer. We hope to bring the I Am Still Music Tour to the UK in the later half of the year.”
