A documentary depicting the creation of Jay-Z and Kanye West’s collaborative album “Watch The Throne” was released on August 8, according to Billboard. Filmmaker Robert Lopuski followed Jay and Yeezy while they were recording “The Throne” in France, Australia, and the United States. Beyoncé and Russell Crowe also make brief appearances in the movie.
The documentary’s director, photographer, and editor Robert Lopuski, explained the film during a recent interview with Paradigm Magazine “In the world of hip-hop, anybody who does something different is a genius, anybody who does something successful is making history…You know it all becomes these exaggerated, bombastic endeavors. And so, for me, I was not interested in that; I was more interested in the smaller moments. The quiet power of talent.”
