Kile Glover, the son of the Usher’s ex-wife, Tameka Foster, passed away on Saturday, July 21. Foster, the mother of two of the singer’s children, purportedly asked that her son’s life support be stopped, Kile subsequently died due to heart failure. The tragic death came 14 days after the Kile was hit in the head by a jet ski driven by a family friend at Lake Lanier in Atlanta, Georgia, according to ABC News. The 11 year old was declared brain dead the Monday after the accident.
Usher’s godfather, Broadway actor Ben Vereen, recently spoke to the Huffington Post about how the famous R&B musician was reacting to the situation “I’m proud of [him] because he’s standing strong…It’s a terrible thing when a parent has to bury their child. No parent should ever have to bury his or her child. I know because I buried one. So please continue your prayers for him and [his] family for strength and healing.”
