We always knew Usher had a thing for ladies’ underwear according to many of his songs. Well, the singer is now about to turn this passion into a business! Usher announced that he wanted to work with boss of Jimmy Choo and friend Tamara Mellon to launch a lingerie line in a recent interview with “Glamour.” “Tamara Mellon is a friend of mine and I keep telling her we have to do something cool together, like design a lingerie line through Jimmy Choo,” he said.
Usher definitely knows his subject since he already performed at Victoria’s Secret fashion show two years ago. “I love a woman’s curves, her shape,” said the artist. “And you should know that I’m a fan of lingerie, I mean more than most men. Kiki De Montparnasse and Agent Provocateur – I know all the names.”
If men might not love the idea of women wearing bras and panties with Usher’s name on it, this project should definitely arouse his female fan base. The RnB crooner confessed that his ideal woman would be “naked under a trench coat except for some Cosabella underwear and Jimmy Choo shoes.” Ladies, you know what to do! Though Usher also declared he wanted to stay single for the moment.
Before Usher’s fantasy of wrapping every girl’s body come true, the deluxe edition of his album “Raymond V. Raymond” will hit the store on August 24th. It will include one new bonus CD titled “Versus” with eight news tracks. The song “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love” featuring Pitbull is the first single and should once again be a hit in the clubs.
