“Usher VIP,” a new fragrance for men released through fragrance giant Elizabeth Arden, is currently available at major retail stores.
The fragrance is said to capture the essence of masculinity, self-assurance, poise and confidence. “I consider fragrance to be one of the most important tools of engagement for seduction. With Usher VIP, I created a gentlemen’s scent, which would also appeal to women…VIP is a state of mind which is about what you do with that confidence and how you make an impact in the lives of those around you,” said the singer.
Usher’s cologne has top notes of tangerine, bergamot, kumquat and nutmeg; a heart of violet leaf, lotus flower and saffron, and a drydown of vetiver, oakmoss and suede.
Since Usher first burst onto the music industry in the 90’s, the multi-platinum, Grammy award winner has been very successful with his music career and outside projects. His credits include acting, part-owner of the basketball team the Cleveland Cavaliers and ambassador of “Powered By Service,” a non-profit organization that he created to encourage young people to utilize their talents and resources to make a difference in their community.
“Usher VIP” follows “Usher He” and “Usher She” two fragrances that first debuted in the fall of 2007 and “UR for Him” and “UR for Her” which debuted in 2008.
Usher’s anticipated new album “Raymond VS Raymond” will hit stores on March 1, 2010.
