On the early morning of June 10 Usain Bolt was involved in a minor car accident.
According Carole Beckford, the world’s fastest man’s publicist, while returning from a party the night before Bolt lost control of his BMW which resulted in a “fender bender” in Kingston, Jamaica’s capital.
Apparently the 3 time Olympic gold medalist hit a guard rail but was uninjured, his publicist also stated “There were no injuries at all. He is fine and resting at home.”
The following morning Asafa Powell wrote on Twitter “My friend and countryman is ok after a fender bender,” he also dismissed rumors that he was involved in the accident “Contrary to the news, I was in another car.”
