The singer took a trip to the country of Puerto Rico to rock his modeling skills for Rocawear’s spring and summer collections.
Rocawear, which caters to the young and trendy, took up the fresh-faced R&B star to grace the covers and feature the company’s clothing line for the 2nd time.
“Rocawear is the number one urban brand right now,” Songz said in an interview with StyleListakt.com. “It’s growing and I think of myself in that way. You’ve watched me mature from a young man to a man with the songs I sing to the clothes I wear to the imagery and the way I’m perceived.”
Songz went on to describe the clothing that would comprise the Spring 2011 men’s collection as a continuation of the fall collection. “I’m very big on simplicity but making it look very complex,” Songz said. “For the fall, the mood and story line was about my life and the work aspect and how lush it is. The spring campaign will be more about the fruits and luxury of it.”
