The former princess of Roc-A-Fella records, Teairra Mari, will finally release her sophomore album “At That Point” on November 17th, after a 4-year gap.
The album has various guests including Kanye West, Pleasure P and Young Money first lady Nicki Minaj. The current single from the now 21-year old singer’s upcoming album is “Cause a Scene” and features rapper Flo Rida.
“Make Her Feel Good”, her first hit in 2005, marked the introduction of Teairra Mari as the little sister of The Roc. The then 17-year-old unabashedly expressed her female perspective of what young life in the hood was about. Her second single “No Daddy” received decent airplay on TV and helped to propel her album to No.5 on The Billboard 200 and No.2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Teairra’s dream soon turned into a nightmare however, when she was dropped from The Roc.
Let’s hope Teairra’s latest effort, to be released with Warner, will mark a new step in her still young career…
