You will need more than just a Social Media hacking to impress Taylor Swift! Yesterday, her accounts on Twitter and Instagram were taken over by a group of hackers having already known for having hacked major international companies. They were asking Taylor’s fans to pay them a certain sum in bitcoins (virtual currency), otherwise, they would release nude pics of the singer. Several unusual tweets were noticed on Taylor’s account yesterday morning, asking for her 71 millions followers to follow a certain @lizzard and his accomplice @veriuser. Messages were posted at the same time on her Instagram. Both users claim to have ties to a group of hackers called Lizard Squad. This group has already drawn attention in the past by having hacked several developers of video games such as Sony Playstation and X Box Live last year. When her friend Hayley, singer of the group Paramore, told her about the suspicious activity, Taylor asked Twitter to take back the commands of her accounts and to delete both pirates accounts. Upset that they hadn’t been taken seriously, the hackers are now threatening to release nude pics of her, to what the singer answered “PS any hackers saying they have ‘nudes’? Psssh you’d love that wouldn’t you! Have fun photoshopping cause you got NOTHING.“Taylor Swift is very active on social media, and she’s one of the four celebrities to be followed by more than 50 million people on Twitter!
