T.I has been busy shooting multiple videos for new singles. One just hit your screens “Live your Life”, the big HIT feat Rihanna. This single has became number one on the Billboard chart pretty quickly.
On the other side, “Swing Ya Rag” the video he shot a couple of weeks ago with Swizz Beatz might not be released as it was supposed to because the two brands mentioned in the song (Gucci and Vuitton) were definitely not excited about being associated to the rappers’ image. But that hasn’t stopped Tip. He’s now trying to figure out how to shoot the video for his upcoming hit “Swagga Like Us” featuring Kanye, Lil’Wayne and Jay Z. And he must do it quickly because the countdown of his incarceration is coming forward. A year ago, T.I. was scheduled to perform for Hip Hop Awards. Instead of attending the show, he got arrested in a downtown parking in Atlanta for attempting to buy guns. He pleaded guilty and he’s now sentenced to 1,500 hours of community service and one year in jail, starting next march.
So he just got a few months left to get his projects on the tracks. Meanwhile, things are going pretty well for T.I. Last week he celebrated the success of “Paper Trail”, his new album. He sold more than 500,000 copies in a month. T.I. is also planning a tour, and the rapper-turned-actor is currently shooting the film “Bone Deep.”
