Atlanta rapper T.I. has just signed a three-picture deal with Sony’s Screen Gems.
“Bone Deep” is the first film to be released under the deal. This heist flick will feature the self-proclaimed “King of the South” (T.I.) alongside actors Matt Dillon and Idris Elba from “The Wire.” Directed by John Luessenhop, the drama will be based in New York and center on a group of bank robbers attempting to pull off their final heist.
T.I.’s second film, “Boulevard,” is a drama still in development and the third picture has yet to be determined.
T.I. has made a name for himself as he shared on-screen scenes with both Denzel Washington and Common in American Gangster as well as his feature film debut in ATL.
