T.I. will be serving as the executive producer of a reality tv show based on the life of Los Angeles based artist Mars titled Life On Mars.
Mars, the son of a preacher, was kicked out of his father’s house as a teenager after choosing to devote his life to music rather than the Lord. He has ascended in the music industry by making hits for Jay-Z, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, The Game and Young Dro, among others.
Life On Mars will capture the now 22 year old beat maker as he handles being pressured to be a part of his father’s church while trying to juggle making hits for various big name artists as well as singer Joi Starr and his band 1500 or Nothing.
The show, which has already received rave reviews, is currently being shopped to various major networks, which have expressed interest.
