Rapper T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, was arrested on September 1, at a traffic stop in Los Angeles, with his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris, for alleged possession of marijuana, a Los Angeles County Sherriff’s spokeswoman said.
Though Harris and his wife were released the next day on bail for $10,000, the rap superstar’s troubles are not over. Harris had just been released earlier this year and put on probation after being released from jail for a felony weapons charge.
Harris will have to face a probation hearing, which is set for October 15, which will determine the rapper’s future. The hearing will discuss what is to happen next, since authorities have confirmed the rapper’s possession of marijuana, ecstasy, and codeine, in the Harris’s Mayback automobile. Harris may face felony charges for parole violations.
Harris and his record label company, Atlantic Records, have not yet released any statements.
