Los Angeles police are looking for former Death Row records CEO Marion “Suge” Knight, following allegations that he robbed west coast rapper Yukmouth in a San Fernando Valley, CA supermarket, according to Associated Press reports.
Yukmouth, whose real name is Jerold Dwight Ellis III, told police that Knight and an entourage of 10 men confronted him on Monday, March 22, in Ralph’s supermarket. The 35-year-old rapper filed a police report claiming that Knight’s crew beat him then relieved him of $92,000 worth of jewelry, including a watch and medallion. A medallion that says “Yukmouth Godzilla” has since been put up for sale on eBay.com following the incident.
Police are now looking to question Knight, who is already wanted for an unrelated misdemeanor offense.
