On June 25, 2009 Michael Jackson died due to respiratory arrest stemming from over intoxication. Three years later multiple musicians who have likely been influenced by the King of Pop took to Twitter to pay their respects.
Usher wrote “RIP Michael Jackson – you will never die in our hearts, your legacy will live on forever!”
Wiz Khalifa tweeted “3 years ago today the world lost a legend. RIP Michael Jackson. Your music lives on for you. Thank you for everything!”
