Soulja Boy launched a new animated series that combines cartoon and live action, in which he plays a hip-hop superstar who’s suddenly forced to go back to high school.
The cartoon is expected to launch in mid’ January. It’s definitely an original way to promote his music : « I always wanted to do a cartoon since I was young. I am excited because I think that the subject matter will give my fans what they would expect from me. » said Soulja. Alfonso Ribeiro, most notable as Carlton Banks from “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” is the high school principal in the series. Soulja Boy hopes a TV network will pick up the cartoon soon…
