During a press conference on July 30, Snoop Dogg released a trailer for an upcoming documentary, titled “Reincarnated,” which depicts Tha Doggfather in Jamaica while recording his twelfth studio album of the same name, according to HipHopDX. The “Reincarnated” LP will be a reggae release, and Snoop, now known as “Snoop Lion,” traveled to Jamaica for inspiration, to record, and participate in the local culture.
Snoop Lion is staying away from rapping for this album, which will feature Diplo, remarking in the trailer “I don’t mean no disrespect, but I’m tired of rapping. I want to do a whole record with no rapping on it.”
The documentary is scheduled to debut at the Toronto International Film Festival this September. Check out the trailer below.
