Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg is mixing it up again. He went country on his latest single “My Medicine” and now the rapper is going Bollywood.

He’ll team up with Indian super star Akshay Kumar to film a music video for the theme song of Kumar’s new movie, “Singh Is Kinng.” Akshay Kumar, an international movie star, is best known for his James Bond-like character in a Khiladi series, though he starred in more than 80 movies.

While Snoop is welcomed with open arms into India, he has been asked by a pro-Palestinian group to cancel his upcoming show in Israel, according to Jewish news source.

In a recent letter issued to the rapper by the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel, it read: “We strongly urge you to cancel your plans to perform in Israel until the time comes when Israel ends its illegal occupation of Palestinian and Arab territories and respects the relevant precepts of international law concerning Palestinian rights to freedom, self-determination and equality.”

The letter said young Palestinians look up to him and that they wouldn’t even be allowed to attend his concert. “By performing in Ramat Gan, you are helping to perpetuate this special form of apartheid that denies us our rights,” it read. The concert is scheduled for Sept. 18 in the Tel Aviv suburb of Ramat Gan.
