Shakira

Colombian singing sensation Shakira is back with her third English album untitled, “She Wolf”. Three years after the singer last mesmerized the world with her hit single “Hips Don’t Lie”; she is making an electrifying return with “She Wolf”.

Working alongside Pharell Williams, Reggaeton band Calle 13, Raï singer Khaled and Wyclef Jean, the album explores a rich variety of Middle Eastern, Indian and African influences accentuated with electronic funk and Latin flavors. With “She Wolf” the Latin singer delivers a more buzzing and fiercely danceable production. “It’s very electronic and … club-oriented. It’s designed for people to have fun and enjoy themselves and forget about their troubles and the crisis,” said Shakira.

It was in 2001 that the singer finally broke the English barriers with the hit single “Whenever, Wherever”, from her English debut album “Laundry Service” which sold over twenty million copies worldwide. Four years later, Shakira released two albums “Fijación Oral Vol.1” and “Oral Fixation Vol. 2” who finally gave the singer the recognition that she was long overdue.
