Sam Smith could possibly be annoyed if you mock him about his weight, but he seems more pissed off by the comparison that people make of him and the singer Adèle! The “Adèle male” (as Katy Perry called him) recently defended itself from any resemblance with her colleague and expressed his bleakness. We would have say that the comparison with Adèle would have been flattering for the English singer but it seems that he would have a bleakness to hear the same comparison about their style over and over. He declares besides that even Adèle herself wouldn’t like it either. He says: “We’re very different, and I feel like the constant comparisons might piss her off. It just annoys me that people can’t digest two popstars singing really personal songs who don’t look like normal popstars”.The singer obviously thinks that the public has for habit to put sing-alike singers in the same basket, but maybe it is because he and Adèle express the same feelings in their songs? Love, honesty, sorrow … Most of their songs turn around these themes to the point that it became their trademark!Furthermore, the public didn’t see other pop singers singing SO MANY (un)happy love affairs these last years as these both there.
