It wouldn’t be right to beloved fans if Sade returned to the art of music making, only to leave the thought of touring lingering in the air! The though comes to an end the fact becomes reality. Returning to a stage near you, Sade has announced her first set of UK shows as part of a Worldwide Tour. The tour will kick off May 2011 and will be the first time the band has toured since 1993.
Sade’s debut album “Diamond Life” went straight to the UK Top Ten in 1984 and later became Platinum. The band was awarded a Grammy for Best New Artist. To date, Sade’s stateside sales are currently certified at 23.5 million units and the band has sold more than 50 million units worldwide.
Sade’s most recent effort, “Soldier of Love,” is the band’s criticality-acclaimed sixth studio album, as well as being their first collection of fresh material in nearly ten years. Currently touring the new album in America, Sade is performing songs from both their classic collection, as well as the new album.
