The Olympic Games are off to a bad start for Australian shooter Russell Mark. He’s barely arrived and he’s already upset. Russell will not be allowed to sleep in the same room as his wife Lauryn, also a member of the Australian shooting team.
The Australian athlete isn’t looking forward to bunking separately from his wife for three weeks, to put it mildly. Mark is downright furious. According to him, the federation’s decision is a sanction; his wife Lauryn recently appeared on the cover of racy lad mag “Zoo,” posing in a green and gold bikini, the colours of Australia, toting her shot gun. A picture that didn’t go down too well with the Australian Olympic officials. The result: no canoodling for Russell and Lauryn during the Games, let’s hope this change of plans won’t stop them from nabbing gold!
