Elle Varner is fresh and new but already has J. Cole on her side with her first single “Only Wanna Give It To You.” The young singer-songwriter, signed to MBK Entertainment/RCA Records, dropped the new, colorful video today, October 4th.
A daughter of two published songwriters, Varner has music running through her veins. Constantly singing as a kid, she started playing the flute at six and piano at nine. Much later, she successfully applied to New York University, entering a renowned Recorded Music program. Upon graduating, she was decreed “most likely to get signed” and “most likely to win a Grammy.”
Well, her debut seems promising! The new song will appear on her first album, “Perfectly Imperfect,” due this fall. The rising star has already gathered nearly 5,000 followers on Twitter and shared her joy with them today: “I could sit here all day and share this moment with you guys!!! WERE DOIN IT!!! Thank you for being part of the ride!:)
