Rihanna recently kicked off her “LOUD” tour and she’s giving fans a behind the scenes sneak peek of her rehearsals.
In the three-minute video, Rihanna is seen practicing choreography with her backup dancers. The tour’s choreographer, Stephanie Roos, explains that the show will be broken down into five parts—LOUD, Hard, Sex Shop, Love/Hate, and Fun.
The tour’s music director Kevin Antunes, who has worked with Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and other pop stars, said he wants people to recognize Rihanna’s vocal ability on this tour.
“One of the biggest goals that I have for Rihanna’s ‘LOUD’ tour is she’s got such big records—you hear them on the radio, you hear them everywhere you go,” he explained. “I think because her songs are so big around the world that you take it for granted that she’s really, really a good vocalist and I want to make sure that that’s highlighted in the show.”
Rihanna will tour North America through the summer before heading to Europe in the fall.
