Rihanna recently revealed her newest hair style on Twitter; the Bajan beauty posted a picture of herself with lengthy dreadlocks along with the words “Wake bake shake dem dreads.”
When asked by a follower what prompted the decision, Riri replied “their HOT! ;)” since I was 14, but mama Fent’z wasn’t havin it! Hehe.”
Later that day, Rihanna performed on the television show ‘American Idol’ and gave the world a full view of her new hairstyle.
The dreadlocks and Twitter announcement aren’t surprising considering that Rihanna is a self-proclaimed fan of the reggae great Bob Marley and the rastafari lifestyle.
