Last week end Snapchat got into some serious trouble after it published a distasteful campaign featuring Chris Brown and Rihanna.
“Would you rather slap Rihanna” or “Punch Chris Brown ?”. Snapchat’s latest ad seriously pissed off Riri. On Thursday March 15, the “Love on the Brain” singer clapped back at the American firm on her Instagram :
“You spent money to animate something that would intentionally bring shame to DV victims and made a joke of it”
“Now SNAPCHAT I know you already know you ain’t my fav app out there! But I’m just trying to figure out what the point was with this mess,” (…) “I’d love to call it ignorance but I know you ain’t that dumb. You spent money to animate something that would intentionally bring shame to DV victims and made a joke of it.(…) Shame on you!”

Despite the company excuses, which deleted the ad straight away, 30-year-old singer invited all of her subscribers to “ Throw the whole app-oligy away.”. Snapchat reportedly lost 1 billion in value following the singer’s epic rant.
