Fans of Rihanna are eager to know what the R&B artist has in store. Rihanna promised that her next tracks will be upbeat since the dark and somber songs of her last album “Rated R” that was less popular than her previous efforts. Rihanna’s new release “Loud” will hit stores on November 16th, but fans can already get a glimpse of the album’s cover as Rihanna posted a pic of the cover on her site. The new signature look on the album has her with a bright red wig and red lipstick. Her eyes are closed and we can see a tattoo on her neck, which says “Rebelle Fleur.”
Based on her new “Loud” cover and the artwork off her new single “Only Girl (In the World),” Rihanna has definitely gone red. Artists including Drake, Taio Cruz, Ne-Yo, Timbaland, and others have helped produce her fifth album.
Earlier this month, Rihanna told fans that her new material was almost finished: “I’m done recording the whole album,” Rihanna posted on her site. “I made sure not to let you down with my music! You guys are always defending me, so now you’ve got some great songs to justify it…I wanted the next step in the evolution of Rihanna, and it’s perfect for us,” the R&B artist added.
We caught up with Rihanna in the Lower East Side of NYC while she was shooting a music video for her second single “What’s My Name.”
Every album she releases shows her evolving as an artist and she offers new musical flavors. We can’t wait to see what she has in store when her new album drops.
