Rihanna is ready to become the latest pop singer to try her hand at acting. The Grammy Award-winning singer has been cast in Universal Pictures’ “Battleship,” a sci-fi action drama based on the popular board game.
Different from the game though, “Battleship” will put naval officers and their ships against invading alien attackers. Taylor Kitsch from X-Men and Alexander Skarsgard from True Blood will also star in the movie, which is planned to be out in late May of 2012.
