Wale posted a series of tweets, discussing the possibility of him signing with a new record label.
Washington D.C. native, Wale made no official announcements for the record deal but uploaded tweets that points to a new deal he made with Rick Ross’s record label, Maybach Music Group.
On his Twitter, Wale wrote, “Maybach Music,” and “It had to be done..2011 gonna be serious situation RT @ rickyrozay: @Wale it’s a lifestyle.”
Rick Ross’s label is a part of Def Jam (Universal). It caters to artists such as Gunplay, Triple C’s, and Young Breed.
Wale burst into the hip-hop scene in 2009 after he debuted with his album, “Attention Deficit,” with Interscope Records.
