Rapper and producer Rick Ross was arrested in Louisiana on a charge of marijuana possession on Friday, March 25, according to reports.
Rick Ross, whose real name is William Roberts II, was issued a misdemeanor summons and released after his arrest on Friday night, according to police spokesman Bill Goodin.
Ross was arrested after complaints were sent in to the police about the smell of marijuana at a Hilton Hotel. According to Goodin, the police confiscated 1 gram of what they believed to be marijuana.
Ross recently released “Teflon Don.” He is also the owner of Maybach Music Group, which represent artists such as Teedra Moses and hopes to represent Wale.
