Fresh off the hit-birthing Double Up and the latest amazing installments of Trapped in the Closet, Kellz has announced his anticipated tour will kick off Nov. 14 in Columbus, Georgia. He’ll also make stops in Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Newark, New Orleans, Oakland, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Washington, DC, and Chicago, though specific dates have yet to be announced.
Kelly is also taking along three of R&B’s brightest stars, turning the tour into an extra-hot powerhouse run. Oaktown honey Keyshia Cole, Def Jam crooner Ne-Yo and “Bed” breakout J Holiday join the Pied Piper for all dates.
The state of the Double Up tour was in limbo after Kelly’s five-year-old child pornography charges finally got a court date earlier this year. He was supposed to stand trial in September, but the date was pushed back yet again after Shauna Boliker, lead prosecutor, was instructed by her doctor not to work after giving birth.
The next status hearing in the case is set for November 2, just 12 days before the Double Up tour is set to kick off.
