Shakira celebrated her 35th birthday on February 2. Her boyfriend, Gérard Piqué, the Barcelona centre back, gave her a Mercedes. The most popular couple in Spain went to a car retailer and left with an SLK 250, worth 46,700 euros. And apparently Shakira picked it out herself.
A swanky gift in the run-up to the couple’s first anniversary. For almost a year, pictures of the couple have been selling for small fortunes and each one of their public appearances have made magazine headlines. This new episode of the Piqué-Shakira saga will no doubt fuel new rumours about an upcoming wedding this year.
