Pharrell Williams presents his first exhibiton “G I R L” at Galerie Perrotin in Paris !
For his first exhibition as a curator, Emmanuel Perrotin has offered musical man of the moment, Pharell Williams, the new space in his gallery on rue de Turenne in Paris. Featuring 40 works by distinguished artists, including 10 especially produced for the exhibition in the Salle de Bal ballroom space.The photographer Terry Richardson his one of the famous personality who worked on this project with Pharrell.
The collaboration between Emmanuel Perrotin and Pharrell Williams began in 2007 in Miami when the singer created his first design object for Mr Porrotin. Last year, he opened his gallery in New York for Pharrell who offered a preview of his album G I R L.
“Pharrell made us feel like we were part of it. This project at the gallery in Paris is a natural continuation of this adventure.” said the gallery director. Pharell said “I’m like a student when I’m with visual artists, I love to learn from them. Artworks teach you how to live and think differently.“
