Barack Obama was in Florida this Thursday. The American president held a reception in Vince Carter’s home to raise funds for the upcoming presidential elections.
Current and former NBA stars were present. Alonzo Mourning, Magic Johnson, Chris Paul and, of course, Vince Carter were there, as were NBA commissioner David Stern and the eccentric owner of the Dallas Mavericks, Mark Cuban.
This initiative allowed Obama to hit the jackpot! He made $2.1 million for his campaign. Obama is a big basketball fan and NBA players seem to be fans of Obama.
