It all culminated in the announcement of the nominees for the first-ever DStv Content Creator Awards at an eclectic, high-energy event that took place at The Hallmark House in Johannesburg on Thursday 21 July 2022. In attendance were over 200 shortlisted entrants, brands and agencies and the awards’ partners, all poised and excited to hear who the nominees were.

DStv is giving everyone one last chance to win an award and R10,000 for the Best Reaction Video, presented by DStv
Create a short reaction video about The Real Housewives of Cape Town, post it on social media using the hashtag #DStvReactionVideo and you could win R10 000 and a DStv Content Creator Award. All entrants need to be 18 years or older.
As part of the event’s aim to support emerging talent, Entrepreneurs Organization Cape Town sponsored two, seven-month mentorship programmes through Over the Rainbow for aspiring entrepreneurs.
The winners of these coveted mentorships are Zanele Shwane of Women at the Well and Ashia Nkontsa of Brand Magazine SA. A huge thanks to Entrepreneurs Organization Cape Town for helping entrepreneurs to achieve their full potential.
The DStv Content Creator Awards will be held on 10 September 2022 in Johannesburg, where all the winners will be announced. Tickets will be limited, so stay close for news.
