As previously promised, Nicki Minaj will conduct a free concert in order to make up for her controversial withdrawal from the Summer Jam festival last June.
On August 3, Minaj wrote on Twitter “Hey barbz, I’m happy to announce my #Free #pinkfridaytour show in #NewYork is going down on aug14th. (This is in ADDITION 2 the Today show).”
AllHipHop reported that the concert will likely be held in New York City’s Roseland Ballroom.
The Young Money barbie’s website posted instructions for those interested in winning tickets to the event. The first 1,500 fans who line up at the concert locations on August 14 at 12 PM will be given access to the show
The show will also be streamed live on the Pepsi website and Nicki Minaj’s Twitter page.
