Santos star Neymar is now a real brand, with his very own logo! Here it is:
“Having a good design, one that really represents the brand thanks to its visual identity, is a key factor for the success of a company,” explained the director of Loducca advertising agency, which designed the logo.
The logo reads “NJR” for Neymar Junior. The N is composed of the number 11, Neymar’s shirt number in both Santos and the national team. The black and white scheme is also reminiscent of his club, Santos.
While the player appears to be developing his personal brand, it would also seem that he wishes to downsize his endorsement activities. The 20-year-old currently has 13 sponsors, and is reportedly eager to get rid of several of them and stay with 5. There is a catch however: the player has such a lavish lifestyle that he needs the money. According to Forbes, Neymar has spent around 13 million dollars over the past two seasons.
