The footballer posted his phone number on the Twitter account of his team mate in Santos, Ganso! The latter made fun of him, saying: “You posted your actual phone number? You’re crazy!”.
Unfortunately for fans who thought they had a scoop, it turns out it was all a publicity stunt organised by a sponsor. The first people to call came across a recording by Neymar encouraging them to leave a message of support.
We’re not sure his fans appreciated the ploy.
