The NBA players’ union announced yesterday that it rejected the latest offer made by franchise owners concerning the reevaluation of their contracts. They even disbanded their union in order to bring up an antitrust case against the NBA.
This type of procedure takes at least two months to be processed which means that we can expect half a season in the best case, and no season in the worst case scenario. The 2012/2013 season is also potentially under threat.
This new step in the negotiations could see some players come to Europe in order to continue to compete.
