During one of the most awaited fashion events of the year, Fall 2008 Collections are presented to the press, buyers, fashion insiders and celebrities who descend upon New York city for the eight-day (February 1-8) event celebrating the best in fashion.
Over 100,000 guests are expected to attend, including some 3,000 members of the press and fashion industry from around the world.
As usual, the hip hop community took fashion week by storm! Kanye and his fiance Alexis attended the Zac Posen, Vera Wang and Derek Lam shows.
Kelis rocked the runway in an orange number by Heatherette looking tanned and toned.
And Kimora Lee’s Baby Phat show was one of the hottest shows during fashion week. Her celebrity-filled fashion shows have become a New York Fashion Week fixture. Her lavish designs are worn and sought by everyone from Paula Abdul to Britney Spears and Lil’ Kim to Alicia Keys.
