Last week, Samaki Walker ate eight grams of marijuana after a police officer pulled over the 1996 first round draft pick. The cop claimed the car smelt like cannabis, a search produced 10 grams of weed, multiple prescription pills, and eight bottles of liquid steroids.
The 35-year-old still plays in Syria, a state that allows the use of steroids, and although the 2002 Lakers league champ’s current state of California may allow medical weed, a stringent Arizona doesn’t allow either.
The former Miami Heat forward posted bail the night he was arrested and has a trial set for August 5.
