Alicia Keys, 50 Cent, Akon, Ciara, T-Pain, Fat Joe and Earth Wind and Fire are just some of the American artists who are in Nigeria (Africa) for the THISDAY Music Festival Peace concert.
The concert will be held in six Nigerian cities between Friday, December 18 and Sunday, December 20. The performing artists will be expected to motivate the crowd on the peace theme of the concert by reminding them that peace is a precondition for development and progress in any society.
The bold statement made by the American hip hop and RnB artists attending the music festival in support of peace and development of Africa is commendable and will bring much needed attention to the ills of the Nigerian Delta region.
Nigerian music fans will enjoy an experience of a lifetime whilst being motivated to stand up for peace and change.
