There was not a dry eye in the house on May 2, when the inspirational Fabrice Muamba returned to Bolton Football Club to watch his teammates play Tottenham.
It was his first public appearance since he cheated death after collapsing in an FA Cup game also against Tottenham nearly two months ago. Muamba himself wiped away tears as he was given a standing ovation. Both sets of fans put aside Premier League rivalry to sing his name from the stands.
Many footballers including Robin Van Persie, have taken to Twitter to tweet pictures of themselves with Muamba. It seems that his miraculous recovery has really brought the Premier League together.
