Michael Phelps will be holding a live press conference today, August 6. Phelps, whose performances at the London Games broke the record for the most decorated Olympian ever, has won a total of 22 medals, 18 of which are gold. After winning a final gold in the 4×100 meter medley relay on Saturday, the swimmer declared that he would be retiring.
However, today Michael will be making another announcement.
