Michael Jackson’s death devastated fans around the world, but it hasn’t stopped them from making Michael a top-seller artist.
Announced on Monday (Oct. 25) via Forbes, Jackson topped other celebrities in their “Top earning dead celebrity” list including Elvis Presley, John Lennon, and Jimi Hendrix, with gross earnings of$275 million.
The singer left behind three children and a debt of $500 million. But his estate has made millions since his death, mostly through record sales, the “This Is It” concert movie, licensing rights, deals to release new albums and a Cirque du Soleil stage show in Las Vegas.
A new album, which include some unreleased singles will release sometime in November. Also for the holiday season, video game developer will release the game “Michael Jackson: The Experience” allowing players to dance to their favorite songs from the King of Pop.
