Mayweather vs. Pacquaio may finally happen… in a courtroom

Floyd Mayweather may be required to appear in court after missing a defamation deposition set in June. The case concerns fellow boxer Manny Pacquiao who claims that the welter-weight champ slandered the Phillipino, saying that he used performance enhancing drugs.

Undefeated Floyd retorted “If you look at sports in the Olympics, they’re cheating. Everyone is cheating. And I never once said Manny Pacquiao was cheating, only thing I said was this: Me and any other opponent I face must take the test.”

Although unprecedented, a long awaited welterweight match between two world title winners may be in the works. The only sticking point is that Mayweather wants his opponent to take a blood test two weeks before a match, a time too short for ‘Pacman’ who feels weak after giving blood.
