Ex track star Marion Jones has relinquished the five medals she won at the Sydney Olympics. Last week, Jones admitted to having used steroids beginning in1999, the year before Sydney, but says she believed they were flax seed oil.
She apologized in public for cheating.
She will now have to deal with the judicial system in the US. She faces a prison sentence for lying to federal prosecutors.
