Soul vocalist Mario is on top of the charts with his latest single “Break Up” from his fourth studio album D.N.A. The song that features Gucci Mane and singer/producer Sean Garrett was produced by Bangladesh and written by Shondrae Crawford and Garrett.
The single that first premiered on radio in late March, 2009 has been gaining a lot of buzz and airplay from media alike and with an iffy beat and a shifting trend from R&B to Hip-Hop moves “Break Up” has become a fan’s favorite.
Since its first release “Break Up” peaked at # 111on the U.S. Billboard charts under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles, then the following week the song was at #110, to finally peak at # 86.
Currently “Break Up” is the #1 song at urban radio and # 3 on U.S. Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs
“D.N.A.” is due in stores and digital retailers September 22.
